Little Breath - January 15

My feet,
Covered
By the sea's sand.

I'm deep in the sand
Unable to move,

I take a breath of the universe
And smile.

Her wrinkled face
Looks through me,
Penetratingly.
Then passes
Without saying a word to me.

It reminds me,
Of a lifetime.
