Remember

One after the other
Compressed
Thrown off the train
Some live
Some die
Separated mothers from their children
Women separated from their husbands
Crying and weeping
And no one to hear

The children cry
In the cold nights
They miss the hug of their mother
The smell of burning bodies stick in their throats

Spring, summer, and winter again.
The rains once more arrive
Refilling the streams of tears
That long since dried
Upon the ravages of suffering souls
Thoughts of death
It's part of their lives now
Maybe ...
Forever ...

  1. Its sad that at any point in human history there is always a sad story of inhumanity
